Job Seekers Encouraged to Brush Up Their Resumes and “Dress for Success”

State Senator Patty Ritchie is reminding job seekers that 50 employers—many of which are hiring now—will be on hand at her St. Lawrence County Job Fair, taking place Thursday afternoon in Ogdensburg.

The free event will run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Oddfellows Hall, located on the corner of Route 37 and Linden Street in Ogdensburg.

“There’s no better way to land your next job than meeting face-to-face with people who are looking to hire right away,” said Senator Ritchie.

“I’m hoping that people in our region—whether they are looking for work or just seeking a career change—will take the time to brush up their resumes, “dress for success” and visit my St. Lawrence County Job Fair this Thursday.”
