National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

This coming Saturday, April 30, is recognized as “National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.” As part of this observance, CVS Pharmacy is hosting more than 150 take back events around the country, including a collection site located at 12 South Central Avenue, Mechanicville, available this Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. CVS Health is a long-time supporter of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, which was established by the U.S. D...rug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in 2010 to provide a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of prescription drugs. Working in close partnership with law enforcement, this effort has resulted in the safe disposal of more than 35 metric tons of unwanted medication to date!
