Senator Rob Ortt (R,C,I – North Tonawanda) today announced that he has appointed Niagara Falls resident Colleen Low Larkin to the Niagara Falls Water Board. Ortt said that Low Larkin, a freelance communication services consultant whose business is RooBoo Productions, has a unique background that will serve the board and city well.
“Colleen Low Larkin has the experience and personality to be a powerful voice for Niagara Falls residents,” said Ortt. “Her private and public sector experience, combined with her record of serving our community, will help as Niagara Falls confronts significant challenges. Too often, layers of government struggle with transparency or fiscal issues while the general public scratches its head in disbelief. As a communication expert, I know that Colleen will offer a valuable, fresh perspective on the Water Board.”
“I’m thankful to Senator Ortt for considering me for this important position and I look forward to serving my community,” said Low Larkin. “I intend to rely on my communication background and community service experience as we tackle the significant challenges facing the city and the board. Falls’ residents deserve accountability, transparency, and efficiency and that’s what I will demand.”
