“What we saw today was political cowardice. Senate Republicans realized that we were going to be able to pass women’s health bills, and they decided to simply end the work of the day. The Senate Republicans no longer have a functional majority, but that clearly isn’t stopping them from holding up progress. Today we saw why we need a Senate Democratic Majority, because every single Senate Republican decided to run away rather than address and protect women’s rights.”
