“The Senate Republicans’ cynical decision to link a series of disparate issues into one ‘big ugly’ is a disservice to New Yorkers. Many of the proposals included in the GOP’s omnibus bill have already passed the Assembly and we want those bills brought to the Senate floor for a vote. To hold good proposals hostage to Republican pet-projects is unacceptable, we will not support this ‘big ugly’ legislation and will not provide any votes.”
