Geneva High School Senior Shadows Senator Helming in Albany

ALBANY – Senator Pam Helming recently welcomed Geneva High School senior Kate Equinozzi to the State Capitol. Kate was chosen as the representative from Senator Helming’s district to attend the 18th annual Students Inside Albany conference sponsored by the League of Women Voters of New York State Education Foundation Inc. As part of the experience, Kate had the opportunity to shadow Senator Helming during the afternoon. Kate previously interned in Senator Helming’s District Office in Geneva during the fall semester of her senior year of high school. Senator Helming provides local high school and college students with internship opportunities in both her District Office and Albany Office.
