“Peter was a gentle giant, always there to help and serve those in the community as the Commissioner of the Hartsdale Fire District. A former NYPD Sergeant and first responder on 9/11, he was a true hero who sadly paid the ultimate price. My deepest sympathies to his family and all who knew him.”
