“Yesterday, we lost another giant of the Civil Rights era, Vernon Jordan, a business executive and presidential advisor, who once said, ‘Send me to disrupt injustice.’ He had a remarkable life of fighting against voter suppression and for greater equality. Let us remember his incredible legacy of successfully intersecting so many facets of society, including business, politics, and social issues, for the common purposes of improving others’ lives. May he rest in peace.”
