Senator Toby Ann Stavisky spoke at a Doctor’s Day event at Elmhurst Hospital.

“Doctors and other health care workers have earned our respect and gratitude for their efforts and accomplishments during the pandemic. In addition to caring for patients, they are also their advocates,” she said.

The celebration was sponsored by their union, Doctors Council, SEIU.
