Addabbo honors and remembers veterans on Vietnam Veterans Day

“Today is a day we remember the brave military members who fought in the Vietnam War — many who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country,” State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr., a member of the Senate Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs Committee, said. “On their return home after seeing the horrors of war, many of these soldiers did not receive a warm welcome home from the country they sought to protect. It is our duty to show these veterans the respect they deserve and honor them for the heroes that they are. We shall never forget their sacrifices, and thank them for their service and dedication to our country on this Vietnam Veterans Day.”
