“This is a measure of justice for the families of the horrific Schoharie limo crash tragedy, many of whom I represented. However, we still need the Assembly to pass legislation that we passed in the Senate to extend the state limo safety task force so they can fully review and thoroughly investigate the state inspector general’s findings about the state DOT and DMV’s role in the crash and why this vehicle was on the road in the first place when it should never have been. The families of the victims and all New Yorkers deserve reassurance that something like this can never happen again.”
