As a member of the NYS Senate Committee on Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs, Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. said: “As we commemorate the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, we honor the memory of those who lost their lives on that fateful day. December 7th stands as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who served our country during World War II.Today, we pay tribute to the resilience and courage of the Greatest Generation and reaffirm our commitment to upholding the freedoms and values for which they fought so valiantly. Let us never forget the lessons of history and strive to build a more peaceful and just world for future generations. May we always cherish the legacy of those who perished at Pearl Harbor and draw inspiration from their enduring spirit.”
