Addabbo Hosts Shredding Event in Lindenwood with Persaud and Pheffer Amato

Senator Addabbo and staffers from the Department of Sanitation help constituents empty paper into bins ready for disposal

Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. along with colleagues Senator Roxanne J. Persaud and Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato helped residents shred their personal documents safely by hosting a shredding event in Lindenwood on Sunday in the parking lot of Queens Country Savings Bank. The NYC Department of Sanitation provided their shredding truck and staffers to help pulverize the paper while interested residents could watch the process through the truck’s small viewing window.

“With the great success of my previous shredding and recycling events, I wanted to give constituents another chance to come and have their personal documents shredded safely and securely,” Addabbo said. “It is important to know that your documents, or your clients' documents, with sensitive personal information like social security numbers and account numbers have been properly shredded and recycled.”
