Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. hosted his annual Senior Job Fair at the Kew Gardens Community Center in Forest Hills on May 30, 2025, celebrating Older Americans Month by offering meaningful employment opportunities for residents aged 55 and older. The event showcased a diverse range of job openings across various industries, emphasizing roles that value the experience and expertise of seasoned workers.

“This event highlights the incredible talent and dedication that older adults bring to the workforce,” stated Senator Addabbo. “We’re proud to provide a platform where employers recognize the value of experience and where seniors can find fulfilling opportunities that leverage their skills.”

The fair was open free of charge to both participants and vendors. Attendees dressed professionally and brought copies of their résumés to share with potential employers, fostering meaningful connections and new career paths.

Participating organizations included Passion for Seniors of NY, Job Path, Port Authority of NY & NJ, GoodTemps, AFC Industries, CAMBA Inc., MTA, St. Mary's Hospital for Children (Volunteer), Primerica Inc., Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center, and many others.
