Senator Lea Webb Announces $50,000 in State Funding for Family Planning of South Central New York, Inc.

(Binghamton, NY) – Today, Senator Lea Webb (SD-52) announced that she has secured $50,000 in state funding for Family Planning of South Central New York, Inc. in Binghamton. The funding was awarded through the New York Senate’s Community Resiliency, Economic Sustainability, and Technology Program (CREST) and will aid in technology purchases and upgrades. 

Family Planning of South Central New York, Inc. has long served as a trusted provider of comprehensive, high-quality reproductive and sexual health care for individuals and families across the Southern Tier. Through its Binghamton health center, the organization delivers essential services including preventive care, cancer screenings, contraception, STI testing and treatment, and patient education to thousands of residents each year, regardless of income or insurance status.
