Nassau County, N.Y. – In partnership with Green Acres Mall, Senator Patricia Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick helped provide turkeys to local families and veterans just in time for Thanksgiving. 

 

Numerous turkeys were distributed to local organizations, including the New York Race Track Chaplaincy and, in partnership with Assemblyman Ari Brown, Legion Wrap It Up Pantry in Inwood, helping families and veterans across the district enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal. 

 

"Thanksgiving reminds us to appreciate our blessings and spread kindness to those around us. Helping families enjoy a traditional holiday meal is a meaningful way to come together as a community. This initiative ensures everyone can celebrate and make memories with their loved ones. I’m grateful to Green Acres Mall for their generosity and continued collaboration in supporting our neighbors,” said Senator Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick. 

 

"The Legion Wrap it Up pantry was blessed to have 25 turkeys donated to us to help local veterans and at-risk families, the senator saw many smiles through her actions,” said Syd Mandelbaum, CEO and Founder, Legion Wrap It Up Pantry.
