Senator Rolison's August Visit with the DCC EOP Summer Enrichment Program Participants

Following a visit and meeting with the students from Dutchess Community College's Educational Opportunity Program's Summer Enrichment Program, Senator Rolison made the following statement: 

“The EOP Summer Enrichment Program at Dutchess Community College gives Hudson Valley students the tools, confidence, and support they need to thrive in their academic journeys. By investing in these young people, we are not only opening doors for their individual success — we are also strengthening our communities for years to come. These students represent the future of the Hudson Valley, and programs like this ensure that future is bright, inclusive, and full of opportunity.”

Students in DCC's EOP program come to the Hudson Valley from across New York State and are studying in programs ranging from aviation and business administration to nursing and law. They are gaining the tools, confidence, and support they need to succeed, and in doing so, they’re shaping a stronger, more inclusive Hudson Valley.
