Senator Ryan Launches PRIDE Month Product Drive to Support LGBTQ+ Community Members Across Central New York
June 1, 2026
In recognition of PRIDE Month, New York State Senator Christopher J. Ryan today announced the launch of a district-wide PRIDE Month Product Drive to collect essential hygiene and personal care products for LGBTQ+ individuals and families across Central New York.
"PRIDE Month is a time to celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community, but it is also an opportunity to show up for our neighbors in tangible ways," said Senator Ryan. "Access to basic hygiene products should never be a barrier to dignity or well-being. This product drive is a simple but meaningful way for our community to come together and support LGBTQ+ individuals and families throughout Central New York."
Throughout the month of June, community members may donate new, unopened personal care items, including panty liners, pads, tampons, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, hair brushes, combs, and deodorant. Donations will help local organizations provide critical support and resources to LGBTQ+ individuals in need.
Donations may be dropped off throughout June at the following locations:
- Fayetteville Free Library, 300 Orchard St., Fayetteville, NY 13066
- NOPL Brewerton Branch, 5440 Bennett St., Brewerton, NY 13029
- Maxwell Memorial Library, 14 W. Genesee St., Camillus, NY 13031
- Fulton Public Library, 160 S. 1st St., Fulton, NY 13069
- Oswego County Opportunities Fulton Office, 239 Oneida St., Fulton, NY 13069
- Oswego County Opportunities Oswego Office, 10 George St., Oswego, NY 13126
Senator Ryan encourages residents throughout the 50th Senate District to participate and help ensure that members of the LGBTQ+ community have access to essential personal care products. Every contribution, large or small, will make a meaningful difference.
