(Southern Tier, NY) – Senator Lea Webb announced that her office is inviting schools across New York’s 52nd Senate District to participate in the Graduation Certificate Program, an initiative to recognize graduating and moving-up students for their hard work and academic achievements.

Through this program, schools may submit a list of students who will be receiving diplomas or advancing to the next stage of their education. Each participating student will receive a New York State Senate Certificate of Achievement commemorating this important milestone.

“Graduation represents an important moment in the lives of our young people and their families,” said Senator Webb. “I am proud to recognize the dedication, perseverance, and accomplishments of students across the Southern Tier as they take the next step in their educational journeys.”

Schools interested in participating in the Graduation Certificate Program are encouraged to submit a list of students in an Excel file at least one week before their graduation ceremony to allow sufficient time for certificates to be prepared.
