Senator Pam Helming recently toured Jrlon, Inc., headquartered in Palmyra in Wayne County, where she met with owner Chad Redmond and Operations Manager Jeff Ameele to discuss the company’s expansion, workforce development efforts, and ongoing investment in the region. The visit highlighted Jrlon’s role as a major local employer and the importance of supporting businesses that are choosing to grow and remain in Upstate New York.

Jrlon is a family-owned manufacturer producing specialized plastic and metal components used across industries, including aerospace, transportation, medical devices, energy, and other advanced technologies. Founded in the 1950s, the company has expanded through generations of family leadership and today employs nearly 200 people, reflecting a long-standing dedication to innovation, quality craftsmanship, and community. In addition to its Palmyra headquarters, Jrlon operates facilities in Spencerport, New York, and Summerville, South Carolina.

Senator Helming said, “Family-owned manufacturers like Jrlon are the backbone of our regional economy. They create good-paying careers, drive innovation, and prove that world-class products can be made right here at home. Jrlon represents the very best of New York manufacturing and shows why it is so important to keep opportunity and investment in our state. I remain committed to advancing policies that help manufacturers grow, compete, and succeed for generations to come.”
