Addabbo spreads holiday cheer with Rockaway seniors
State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. called in a favor at the North Pole and got Saint Nick himself to drop by the Saint Francis De Sales Golden Age Senior Center’s annual Christmas party on December 20.
Santa Claus — who looked a lot like the Senator around the eyes — greeted the seniors with a hefty “ho, ho, ho” and gave out gifts to everyone in attendance. He thanked them all for being on the “nice list” this year and wished everyone a happy and healthy New Year before taking off on his sleigh to finish preparing for Christmas.
