A Young Leader Making a Big Difference

Brooke Boccio, of Lynbrook’s Troop 2570, was recently named VFW NY Scout of the Year and earned the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award for her incredible project raising awareness about equine-assisted therapy for veterans and first responders. With over 80 hours of service and national recognition, Brooke is a shining example of leadership and community spirit - a true role model for young leaders across Long Island. It was an honor to recognize her achievements in Albany!
