Senator Jack Martins and Senator Steve Rhoads are partnering with NuHealth/Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) to bring their Mobile Mammography Van to Nancy Marx Cancer Wellness Center to offer breast cancer screenings for women over the age of 40.

Early detection is the best detection and this initiative ensures that women have convenient access to life-saving screenings close to home.

Please select one time preference. We will do our best to accommodate preferences, however appointments are not guaranteed. NUMC will follow-up 2 weeks prior to the event to confirm health information and specific appointment time.

Insurance?

Yes

If you have health insurance, you must bring a referral or prescription from your physician for a screening mammogram. If you do not have health insurance, the prescription is not necessary. The mammogram is free for uninsured women ages 40 and older, based on eligibility guidelines.
