Addabbo Brings MetroCard Van to Woodhaven

For residents in need of accessing MetroCard services, State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. is partnering with the MTA to bring their MetroCard Van to his District Office in Woodhaven.
On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, the MTA MetroCard Van will be parked outside of Senator Addabbo’s District Office located at 84-16 Jamaica Avenue, Woodhaven, NY 11421, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help constituents with their MetroCard needs.
The services offered at the Mobiles Sales Vehicles are:
• Get help with a Reduced-Fare application;
• Transfer MetroCard balances (Full fare and Reduced-Fare);
• Exchange a damaged Reduced-Fare MetroCard for a temporary replacement;
• Report a lost/stolen Reduced-Fare MetroCard; and
• Ask our team about any MetroCard-related issues.
It should be noted that MTA Mobile Sales buses and vans are not making credit card transactions. You can still buy a MetroCard using cash or transfer value from a Reduced-Fare MetroCard.
“In a time when reliable public transit is increasingly vital, deploying the MetroCard van to our neighborhood matters deeply,” Addabbo said. “This program not only lightens the strain of daily travel for our residents but also guarantees universal access to essential services. We must keep championing resources that improve mobility and connectivity, making our communities more reachable for all.”
