 AN ACT to amend the criminal  procedure  law,  in  relation  to  persons
   designated as peace officers
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Section 2.10 of the criminal procedure law  is  amended  by
 adding a new subdivision 85 to read as follows:
   85.  CRIMINAL  INVESTIGATORS EMPLOYED BY THE UNITED STATES TRANSPORTA-
 TION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION'S INVESTIGATIONS DIVISION.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
