McDONALD -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Governmental Operations AN ACT to amend the public officers law, in relation to the filing of financial disclosure statements THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Paragraph (l) of subdivision 1 of section 73-a of the public officers law, as amended by section 5 of part A of chapter 399 of the laws of 2011, is amended to read as follows: (l) The term "filing rate" shall mean the HIGHER OF THE job rate of SG-24 as set forth in [paragraph] PARAGRAPHS a AND C of subdivision one of section one hundred thirty of the civil service law as of April first of the year in which an annual financial disclosure statement shall be filed. § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of April next succeeding the date on which it shall have become a law. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD09625-01-3
