   printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government
 
 AN ACT authorizing the use of existing village sewer rents  for  infras-
   tructure  projects  other  than sewer projects in the village of Bald-
   winsville; and providing for the repeal of such provisions upon  expi-
   ration thereof
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Notwithstanding section 453 of the general municipal law to
 the contrary, the village of Baldwinsville, upon the transfer  of  sewer
 service  to  the  county  of  Onondaga,  is hereby authorized to use the
 existing village sewer rents for the payment of expenses or  obligations
 incurred by the village for infrastructure improvements, or to be placed
 in a capital reserve fund to be used specifically for future infrastruc-
 ture improvements.
   §  2.  This  act  shall take effect on the sixtieth day after it shall
 have become a law and shall expire and be deemed repealed one year after
 such date.

 AN ACT to amend chapter 198 of the laws of 2021, relating to authorizing
   the use of existing village sewer rents  for  infrastructure  projects
   other than sewer projects in the village of Baldwinsville, in relation
   to the effectiveness thereof
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 198 of the laws of 2021,  relating  to
 authorizing  the  use of existing village sewer rents for infrastructure
 projects other than sewer projects in the village of  Baldwinsville,  is
 amended to read as follows:
   §  2.  This  act  shall take effect on the sixtieth day after it shall
 have become a law and shall expire and be  deemed  repealed  [one  year]
 FIVE YEARS after such date.
   §  2.  Notwithstanding  the  provisions  of  article  5 of the general
 construction law, the provisions of chapter 198 of the laws of 2021,  as
 amended by section one of this act, are hereby revived and shall contin-
 ue  in  full  force  and effect as such provisions existed on August 29,
 2022.
   § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
