Letter to the Dept. of Finance on Tax Assessments for Residents Affected by the 2nd Avenue Subway Project

Sen. Krueger sent the following letter to the New York City Department of Finance, which recently gave a presentation for the community on tax assessments for real estate in the Upper East Side affected by the 2nd Avenue Subway project. The letter asks a detailed series of questions about the assessment process, in an attempt to investigate possible solutions to the inappropriate assessments faced by residents affected by the project.
