Dear Friend:
I am pleased to announce that Governor Andrew Cuomo signed into law my bill simplifying the process by which municipalities can access residents' water usage data from private water companies. Read more about this bill in the section below.
This week, I sent a letter to the N.Y.S. Department of Conservation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers asking that they extend the public comment period and expand public engagement before the adoption of a potentially hazardous storm surge plan ostensibly intended to protect coastal communities from future superstorms.
