Democrat Kevin Thomas, represents the 6th District (Mid-Nassau) in the New York State Senate. He is a 34 years old Civil Rights Attorney, who worked on high profile cases in his career before entering politics. He immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 10. Mr. Thomas is now the first Indian American to be elected as State Senator in New York. He lives in Levittown with his wife and daughter.
