Pat Quinn, Sr. delivers remarks as the 10th Annual Yonkers ALS Ice Bucket Challenge was held at Empire City Casino by MGM Resorts, Aug. 5, 2023. The event, sponsored by Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano, Empire City Casino by MGM Resorts along with the Quinn for the Win Foundation, continues to remain a catalyst for raising funds to support research to identify a cure for the debilitating disease. The event was co-founded by Pat Quinn after his diagnosis of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in 2013 at the age of 29. Quinn passed away on November 22, 2020.
