City and State NY’s 2025 Manhattan Power 100

Senator Serrano was honored to be recognized in the 2025 Manhattan Power 100 list, which highlights the most influential figures shaping the future of the borough. This prestigious list features a diverse group of esteemed colleagues, community leaders, and innovators who have made significant contributions to Manhattan’s development and well-being. 

In the list, City and State writes that “State Sen. Jose M. Serrano is the chair of the Committee on Cultural Affairs, Tourism, Parks & Recreation and also serves in the Democratic leadership as majority conference chair. His legislation to create arts and cultural districts passed in the state Senate this year, but didn’t make it through the Assembly. He was also on hand for the opening of the new Delacorte Theater in Central Park in July.”
