Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently took part in the Village of Mineola’s annual Memorial Day Ceremony to pay tribute to our veterans. The ceremony was held at Memorial Park.
Senator Martins, together with local community groups and residents, offered his thanks and appreciation to the veterans who served our country and paid tribute to those who gave their lives defending our freedom. Senator Martins was joined at the ceremony by Mayor Scott Strauss and members of the Village Board, as well as Legislator Rich Nicolello; Assemblymembers Ed Ra and Michelle Schimel; North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth; Town Clerk Wayne Wink; and Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman.
