"As an economic driver and a committed partner in the surrounding communities, Resorts World Casino New York City has helped to transform and revitalize our neighborhood and borough. This expansion will make the site a true destination resort, provide for job opportunities and increase the potential for educational funding. For these reasons and more, this is the type of project that I can easily support, as we witness a step closer towards an even brighter future for Queens. It is with similar enthusiasm, I had at the original groundbreaking for the casino in 2010, that I hope to witness not only an expansion of the physical building but also an expansion of the benefits Resorts World has brought to our area. "
