Addabbo celebrates decision to reopen Belmont Racetrack

I applaud Governor Cuomo’s announcement regarding the reopening of Belmont Racetrack for June 1st. Once again, the Governor rationally analyzed the safety measures for the benefit of our state residents, in addition to the economic impact of resuming the jobs and wagering associated with the great traditional sport of horse racing. I’m pleased our state can once again provide sporting entertainment. I’m hopeful the same analysis and result will be applied to the reopening of the Saratoga Racetrack later this summer.
