Addabbo celebrates Earth Day 2021

Earth Day is an important time each year where we all come together to celebrate our planet and pledge to keep the Earth as clean as we can. This year’s Earth Day theme is ‘Restore our Earth’ and focuses on natural processes and emerging green technologies that can restore the world’s ecosystems. New York State is leading the way with our goal of reaching 100% clean, carbon-free electricity by 2040 — especially with the offshore wind projects coming to the waters of Rockaway Beach. Keeping our planet clean starts with keeping our communities clean, and I encourage everyone to take some time today to do at least one thing to better your own community.
