Addabbo highlights work of Queens Public Libraries for National Library Week
Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr.
April 8, 2021
“April 4 through April 10 of this year is National Library Week, and during this time I wanted to thank all of the amazing Queens Public Libraries and their staff for the work that they have done, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. During this difficult time, our libraries opened their doors to be COVID testing sites, allowing us to make sure that we are keeping ourselves and our communities safe. I also appreciate the cooperative efforts of my local libraries as I sponsor events there that benefit my constituents, such as mobile office hours. I look forward to the day when they can fully open with all of their services intact.”
