Yonkers, NY – “Acts like this despicable assault will not be tolerated in our city, county, state or nation. Hate and violence have no place in our society. My prayers go out to the victim of this assault, who faces a long road to recovery, and her loved ones. It is my hope that the proposed AAPI Equity funding in the Senate’s Budget will help address violence toward Asian-Americans and other issues facing this community.”
