December 7, 2022
“On Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day we honor the thousands of Americans that we lost on this day 81 years ago,” State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. said. “The surprise attack by the Japanese on the United States Naval Base at Pearl Harbor killed 2,403 U.S. military members and civilians, and injured many more. Following the attack, Congress declared war on Japan and we were officially involved in World War II. The sacrifice of the brave soldiers who lost their lives on that infamous day will never be forgotten.”
