Senator Addabbo Brings the Generations Together for Some Wholesome Recreation

It was time for food, fun and games for youth and seniors as Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. partnered with PS/IS 49 student government pupils in Middle Village and the Golden Age Golden Age Club of Ozone Park (GAGA) for a special event on June 9, 2025, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Ozone Park. 

The students and seniors played Connect Four, Jenga, Wheel of Fortune, and Tic-Tac-Toe. The games were provided by Senator Addabbo, and a complimentary breakfast was provided by the senior center, while the students brought free pastries and desserts.

"Bringing our generations together through fun and fellowship is truly the heart of our community,” Addabbo said. “Events like this remind us that age is just a number, and the joy of shared moments can create lasting bonds. I am proud to support initiatives that promote connection, understanding, and wholesome recreation for all."
