Senator Helming Accepting Nominations for Veterans Recognition Program

One of my greatest honors as a State Senator is to recognize the men and women who have served with distinction in the United States Armed Forces. Each year, I look forward to recognizing service member from across my district through my Veterans Recognition Program. Since being elected to the New York State Senate in 2017, I have had the opportunity to recognize hundreds of veterans from across the 54th Senate District. 

I hope you will consider nominating a veteran for this special recognition. Nominations can be made by completing this webform, and all nominees must reside within the 54th New York State Senate District. All nominated veterans will be celebrated in a special ceremony on October 30th at Fort Hill Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua. 

As a daughter of a U.S. Air Force veteran and the mother-in-law of a West Point graduate who served as a U.S. Army Green Beret, I am eternally grateful for the commitment and sacrifice of our veterans and military families.
