Senator Roxanne J. Persaud Honors 19 Outstanding Individuals at Annual Power 19 Awards
Brooklyn, NY – On Monday, October 20, 2025, State Senator Roxanne J. Persaud hosted her annual Power 19 Awards ceremony, celebrating nineteen outstanding individuals from New York State’s 19th Senatorial District. The Power 19 Awards recognize community members who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, advocacy, academic achievement, and a steadfast commitment to community empowerment.
Each year, the event highlights residents who have gone above and beyond in service to others—often without seeking recognition. Their dedication to improving lives and strengthening the district embodies the spirit of unity and progress that defines Brooklyn.
