Albany, NY--Senator Jim Tedisco (R,C-Ballston Lake) honored on the Floor of the New York State Senate the Eastern Regional Champion and Top 5 nationally-ranked Schenectady Belmont Pop Warner Football Program (Click Link to Video Here or Below).

I was proud to join my colleague Senator Kevin Parker in a bipartisan fashion to congratulate the Eastern Regional Champion, and Top 5 nationally-ranked Schenectady Belmont Pop Warner Football Program and welcome them to the Senate Chamber and give them the spotlight that they truly deserve. I told the team members that when they are drafted into the NFL, I want to be their sports agent!” said Senator Jim Tedisco.

The Schenectady Belmont Pop Warner Football Program punched its ticket to national competition by winning the Eastern Regional Championship on Saturday, November 29th in Marsh Creek, Pennsylvania.

Prior to their Regional and National success, the program enjoyed a historic "seven for seven" season at the local level with all seven teams winning their respective Capital District Pop Warner Super Bowls.
