Addabbo Drops Off More Supplies for Veterans at VA

Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. has been conducting a perpetual collection drive, gathering new shirts, socks, underwear, towels and other items for veterans in need. On May 7, 2026, Addabbo staffers Faran Shariff, left, and Carl Moore (not pictured) dropped off the supplies at St. Albans VA, where they were accepted by a representative of the facility.
“As long as there are veterans in need, we will be there to help them,” Addabbo said. “I want to thank all of the community members who donated for their tremendous generosity.”
Requested items must be NEW: sneakers, slippers, sweatpants, pants, jeans, hoodies, bodywash, washcloths (neutral colors), male t-shirts (5 pack), male socks (crew), male underwear (5 pack), bath towels (neutral colors). Clothing sizes should be medium, large, extra-large or 2XL. Items can be dropped off Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Senator Addabbo’s District Office at 84-16 Jamaica Avenue in Woodhaven or at his Middle Village Office at 66-85 73rd Place.
