Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently visited Munsey Park Elementary School to offer his congratulations on the school being named a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education.
Senator Martins presented Principal Dr. Jean Kendall with a legislative resolution he sponsored, which was passed by the Senate, commemorating the milestone. With passage of the resolutions, the school’s accomplishment will forever be part of the New York State Senate’s official record.
