Senator Addabbo and PS 60 Collect Food Donations and Personal Care Items for Sacred Heart Pantry

In response to the urgent need expressed by Sacred Heart Parish Ministries in Glendale for food and personal care items, Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr., in partnership with PS 60 in Woodhaven, organized a month-long collection drive throughout May. Thanks to the generosity of community members, numerous supplies were collected at both of Senator Addabbo’s offices and PS 60. Today, the collected donations were delivered to the pantry, whose representatives expressed gratitude for the ample stock to help residents in need continue receiving support. A special thanks was extended to Martin Colberg of the Woodhaven Residents Block Association for donating a large amount of matzah.

“It was inspiring to see our community come together and demonstrate such compassion,” Addabbo said. “The generous donations will go a long way in helping families facing hardships. I am proud of what we achieved together, and I thank everyone who contributed to making this effort a success.”
