Senator Rhoads Concludes 4th Annual Mobile Office Hour Series

SENATOR RHOADS CONCLUDES 4TH ANNUAL MOBILE OFFICE HOUR SERIES
Marking a milestone with nearly four dozen community meetings bringing government directly to constituents

New York State Senator Steve Rhoads has concluded his fourth annual Mobile Office Hour series, marking another year of bringing constituent services directly into the communities of the Fifth Senate District.

Throughout the series, Senator Rhoads held Mobile Office Hours at local libraries across the district, giving residents the opportunity to sit down one-on-one with their State Senator close to home, discuss concerns, and receive assistance navigating state government.

“Government should be accessible, responsive, and accountable to the people it serves,” said Senator Steve Rhoads. “That means being willing to meet people where they are and listen directly to the concerns affecting their families, neighborhoods, and communities. Whether someone needs help navigating a state agency, has a concern about their community, or simply wants to share an idea, I want my constituents to know that my office is here for them.”

The completion of this year’s Mobile Office Hour series marks a broader milestone in Senator Rhoads’ ongoing commitment to direct constituent engagement. Since taking office, Rhoads has held nearly four dozen Mobile Office Hour forums throughout the Fifth Senate District, in addition to participating in civic association meetings, Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis meetings, houses of worship celebrations, fire department events, American Legion and VFW gatherings, senior center visits, and other community events.

Together, these efforts have provided thousands of residents with opportunities to speak directly with their State Senator, raise concerns, seek assistance with state-related issues, and share ideas about how government can better serve their communities.

“I'm proud of the relationships we’ve built with residents, community leaders, and organizations across the district,” Rhoads said. “Listening to the people I represent and being accessible to them is a responsibility I take seriously every day. I will continue bringing my office into our communities, listening to our neighbors, and working to deliver results on the issues that matter most to them.”
